will I continue to blog ?

Yes! I believe this will help with my photography career.
Blogging has helped me express myself way better and has taught me a lot of things about blogging.

Topic one: car photography

This has really shown me the side of the owners of the vehicles and their connection. People really value their cars mostly when its an older vehicle with history behind it .

Topic Two : Stress !

It is something we do not always like talking about but I feel It is important to get the word out there.

Topic #3 : managing money as a college student

Topic #4 : caring about your mental health

Topic #5 : Love

The college lifestyle

Adulting ? never thought that would come as soon as graduation.

We are never really taught how to life a college lifestyle or who to be in college. We are told what to expect and we eventually have to learn how to adult. It is hard when you have never tried it .Living a healthy lifestyle will be one of the biggest helps in our college career. We need to make sure to get sleep, have food and have what what we need in order to be able to study and be successful college students. You can not focus when there are problems in your life. Teaching college students how to balance out work and school would be very helpful. Also teaching them how to spend money wisely would be another thing that would be very helpful. Life teaches us so many things we are not prepared for but it is only what makes us stronger people.

Managing money is one of the biggest things we are not teaching many students. This impacts the lives of many students. It has been one of my biggest challenges this semester. I have struggled with getting gas ever 2 days just to drive 45 minutes for class and it is hard to manage my money with my current situation. I sometimes crave Starbucks and end up wasting about $5.00 just for 1 drink which is not good.

This probably one of the most stressful questions we ask ourselves when filling out college applications.

Not sure what you want to do ? Ask around when you tour a campus They will give you honest feedback !

We have many choices when it comes to choosing a college, But I believe it is better to start off at a community college. I have known college students who have left to universities but end up leaving because ” college was not for them” or “they feel far from home”. This is something we have to take into consideration before leaving far from home. There are both pros and cons about going to a university. Student debt is something we do not want. Therefore going to a community college will save you thousands of dollars.

Believing you can achieve it !

” Always working in silence, let my success make the noise” – Russ Vitale

This is one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite rappers song ! It explains the outcome of working alone. Your success will speak for its self and everyone will see the great things you are doing.

My dream was to always become a college student and be the first in my family to make sure I got a degree. My parents never had the opportunity to even make it through high school. So they made sure I actually finished. My biggest setback was my financial situation. I wanted to go to college but I was not sure how i was going to pay for it. So i just left it all in Gods hands and if it was his will then it would all work out. I then later got financial aid and had my first year of college paid for. I had never felt so much happiness in my life before. College has been a real challenge for me and has been hard but I could just not give up one my dream. It is a very hard process but if you believe it you will achieve it . It is all in your head. You have to have a positive mindset.

A day in the life of a college student Photographer

The every day struggles of a college student is very challenging. As myself I struggle almost every day. I drive 45 minutes just to go to school. It is a very hard thing for me to do. Waking up extra early , eating a quick breakfast and getting ready quick have become a record I try to break every day. I try to do it all in 30 minutes so I can head out as soon as I can. No one talks about how hard it is to balance work and college at the same time. You show up to school for 3 hours the get a quick lunch break and 30 minutes later you realize your 8 hour shift is fixing to start. We tend to keep motivating ourselves but at times it just breaks us and we realize how behind we are on school or that we have a test we didn’t even have time to study for because we got home late from work and you have to be up for school early.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
